Napa Rocks
Just had an amazing trip to Wine Country. Such a beautiful part of the United States. I got to sniff around some great vineyards, hike on Howell Mountain (watch out for poison oak) and play fetch on the same terroir Robert Mondavi played bocce.
I didn’t stay at any hotels on this visit, but I did get to sip some beautiful wines. Charles Krug Winery has some, actually, they have a lot. This is an iconic, historic property. The history permeates throughout the wines.
Truchard Vineyards. Can’t say enough about this place. I got to walk for miles and miles and take in all the beautiful and fresh smells that only California can produce. When you taste their wine, you taste love. And boy is it yummy!
Last but certainly not least, and this was pure joy, Robert Foley Vineyards. Bob and Kelly treated me like a Rock Star! Got to play fetch in the winery, fetch in their fields and fetch with their cats. No stones were left unturned when these wines were vinified – luscious and rich.
